Commander’s Message
Dear Friends,
Welcome to our Vietnamese American Armed Forces Association! VAAFA was formed as a non-profit association registered with the State of California in order to bring together the proud Vietnamese Americans who are serving or have honorably served in the United States Armed Forces. We are a resource for Vietnamese Americans in the United States Armed Forces for career development, personal assistance, and to share with the Vietnamese American community and the younger generations the opportunities and pride that come with military service. We come from all different backgrounds, but we all have one common bond – the desire to put the needs of our nation before our own. We understand that freedom is not free and we are willing to pay the ultimate price in defense of freedom. We are blessed to have the support of our families, friends, and the Vietnamese American community. We would be nothing without their love, support, and guidance. I am humbled to be a part of this wonderful association. I hope you will join us, help us serve others, and share your experience to make VAAFA even better.
